The new State Hotel is located on a site in New Plymouth that has a long standing history for hospitality in Taranaki. Ekdahl Property Maintenance made the bold move of restoring this tired building back to its former glory and beyond. The Hotel which offers excellent short term accommodation with style rarely seen in Taranaki is now once again leading the way for accommodation in New Plymouth.

A challenging build given the condition of the existing services would be impossible to imagine in the finished product. Credit should be given to our site electrician Scott Thompson for his logical approach to such a build.
